About the Role

Help secure funding for NSEMM by researching grant opportunities and writing compelling applications. An excellent opportunity for students interested in the charity sector, policy, English, or business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research grant and funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and local authorities.
  • Draft grant applications and funding proposals under supervision.
  • Help prepare budgets and supporting documentation for bids.
  • Assist with donor communications and thank-you correspondence.
  • Track application outcomes and maintain a funding pipeline.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a UK university (or recent graduate).
  • Strong written English and ability to write persuasively.
  • Good research skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in the charity sector, social enterprise, or public policy.
  • DBS check required (funded by NSEMM).
