About the Role

Support NSEMM's technology systems and help improve our digital tools. Ideal for computer science, software engineering, or IT students wanting real-world experience with production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff and volunteers.
  • Help test new features and report bugs in NSEMM's web applications.
  • Assist with system documentation and user guides.
  • Support data entry, migrations, and system configuration tasks.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to workflows and processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a UK university (or recent graduate) studying computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Comfortable with web-based applications and basic troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to learn and work methodically.
  • Good communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
  • DBS check required (funded by NSEMM).
