About the Role

Be the friendly first point of contact for families interested in NSEMM's tutoring services. Follow up with enquiries, speak to parents, and help match students with the support they need. Ideal for students studying education, social work, psychology, or communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on new enquiries from parents and carers by phone, email, and message.
  • Build rapport with families and understand their tutoring needs.
  • Keep enquiry records up to date in the NSEMM system.
  • Arrange introductory calls and taster sessions for new families.
  • Provide information about NSEMM's services, pricing, and availability.
  • Escalate complex queries to the appropriate team member.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a UK university (or recent graduate).
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner.
  • Good listening skills and empathy — many families are seeking support for struggling children.
  • Organised and reliable, able to follow up consistently.
  • Comfortable using CRM or admin systems to track conversations.
  • DBS check required (funded by NSEMM).
